Slowly cooked in the oven for about 3.5 hours in the oven with a wonderful spice mixture and finally cooked with barbecue sauce for 40 minutes and brought to the table.

Slowly cooked in the oven, it is a wonderful dish that will turn our table into a feast for both guests and family members with its appearance and taste. In fact, it is not difficult to make, but it seems so because it takes a lot of time and the flavor is very rich.

If the ribs, which we had the outer membrane cleaned by the butcher and the excess fat removed at home, are folded, cut them in half. After spreading the spices you prepared beforehand on it, wrap it in foil with greaseproof paper and bake it in the oven at 160 degrees for 3.5 hours. Then remove the foil, spread it with barbecue sauce from the market and bake at 190 degrees for 40 minutes.

Ingredients: (for 4 people)

1 glass:250 ml

Spice Mixture

1 tablespoon lime pepper or ½ tablespoon black pepper

1 ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

2 tablespoons sweet paprika or sweet paprika pepper

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 ¾ teaspoon salt

1 ½ teaspoon cumin

Barbecue Ribs:

2-3 tablespoons olive oil

1.2 kg beef ribs

1/3 cup barbecue sauce, purchased

Recipe

1. Prepare the spice mixture. Turn your oven to 160 degrees. Ask the butcher to cut away the membrane and excess fat from the rib. When you get home, watch out for excess fat and cut off any excess fat. If the ribs are in two layers, separate them in the middle and make a single layer.

2.Prepare foil to wrap the ribs and put greaseproof paper in the center. Brush the ribs with olive oil and rub them with the spice mixture. Then place it on the greaseproof paper in the center of the foil and wrap it with foil.

3.Cook the ribs in this way for 3.5 hours. Then take it out and turn the oven to 190 degrees. Brush the ribs with barbecue sauce after removing them from the foil and bake uncovered for another 40 minutes.

4.You can serve the ribs. Vegetables and especially French fries go very well with it.
